All of our Dump Valves have undergone a series of flow tests to determine the exact GPM each valve will deliver.  The test results for our valves are as follows:

  1. Our 1050 style Dump Valves, when tested, took 42 seconds to empty 2,500 gallons of water from a 4200 gallon tanker. Giving the 1050 style valve a flow rate of 3570 GPM (gallons per minute).
  2. Our 1010 style Dump Valves, when tested, took 51 seconds to empty 2,500 gallons of water from a 4200 gallon tanker. Giving the 1010 style valve a flow rate of 2,940 GPM.
  3. Our 1050 style dump valve in conjunction with a 6012SW & 4036-8x12, took 64 seconds to empty 2,500 gallons of water from a 4200 gallon tanker. Giving them a flow rate of 2,340 GPM.
  4. Our 7010 round Dump Valve took 64 seconds to empty 2,500 gallons of water from a 4200 gallon tanker. Giving the 7010 a flow rate of 2,340 GPM.

Please note: The following conditions can and will affect flow rates of your tank:

  1. Proper Ventilation
  2. Head Pressure
  3. Baffling inside the tank
  4. Tank configuration and size.

All of these flow tests where recorded and are available for viewing on our video page.
