The first large opening, fast flow water valve
was developed and introduced by AH Stock Manufacturing as the model
1010. The Newton Kwik-Dump Model 1010 ultimately set the standard
for all future quick dump valves.
The original Newton Kwik Dump #1010 valve is
10" x 10" x 24" long, and designed with a plunger-type
backplate. It is constructed so all parts constantly in contact
with water are made of stainless steel, brass, or rubber. The remainder
of the valve is formed from hot-rolled, prime-painted steel. The
valve comes standard with a three degree angle on the flange, with
an option for a square flange. All 1010 valves are also available
in special lengths, as well as mild or stainless steel. They are
also offered in a 12" variety.
All Model 1010 valves
feature numerous options. Various chutes, handles, lock-open devices
are available to suit your specific needs. In addition, all valves
can be modified to include the following features:

- A square flange
- Modifications for poly and fiberglass tanks
- Custom lengths
