The Newton Kwik Dump model 1050 is constructed
so all parts constantly in contact with water are made of stainless
steel, brass, or rubber. The remainder of the valve is formed from
hot-rolled, prime-painted steel. The valve comes standard with a
three degree angle on the flange, with an option for a square flange.
The standard valve size is 10" x 10" x 24", but length
may be customized. All valves are available in mild or stainless
steel, as well.
The Model 1050 Newton Kwik-Dump Valve was designed
with a flip-up back plate which moves completely out of the way
for improved water flow. The Model 1050 is 29% faster than any other
conventional gravity-flow valve tested (including our 1010 model).
The Model 1050 can dump 3000 gallons per minute under ideal conditions.
As an average, an 1800 gallon tanker can be emptied in less than
one minute.
All Model 1050 valves feature numerous
options. Various chutes, handles, lock-open devices are available
to suit your specific needs. In addition, all valves can be modified
to include the following features:
